Delish picked strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and bananas to be their base or any combination of 3 portions of fruits including blueberries. For smoothies, frozen fruits are the best because it blends up thicker than fresh fruits and gives us a really cold smoothie when done. They use about half a cup of unsweetened Greek yogurt in their smoothie, though you can also add peanut butter, almond butter or vanilla yogurt. Lessen the amount of yogurt if you prefer a thinner berry smoothie.
Then add 1 1/4 cup of liquid. Almond milk is good for that added nutty taste, though coconut milk can be added for a more tropical flavour. Other alternatives can be whole milk or fruit juices.
Add some spinach, kale or flax seeds or fresh mint, vanilla extract, cinnamon or honey if you prefer.
